Braythorne Barn, Bed & Breakfast in Harrogate

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation

The house is warm and welcoming with oak floors and rugs throughout the ground floor. There are exposed light oak beams throughout, we have open fires and a separate sitting room for the guests to use.

Breakfast is cooked on the aga, using locally produced dry cured bacon and sausages. We have the freshest of eggs from our own hens and home made marmalade jams and honey. We use organic bread from our local specialist baker.

The guest bedroom has exposed queen roof trusses, on which the swallows used to perch - in the days when we used the barn for lambing our sheep and where Buttercup our donkey, would shelter on cold snowy winter nights. There are tea / coffee making facilities in the bedroom with biscuits, fruit, bottled water and also TV/ Video. The views from the window looking down the valley are very peaceful and relaxing.

Buttercup might serenade the guests in the morning if she has not been given her breakfast! We have two very friendly
wire haired dachunds called Tilly and Alice.
